...for a quick meal and a sense of calm, try Chan's just opened at 227-229 Bulwer Street, Perth. Daniel Chan has planned this gourmet delicatessen and cafe according to the principles of feng shui.

An auspicious day in the Chinese calendar was chosen for the opening, and the five elements - wood, earth, metal, water and air - were used in the design.

The concrete, earth, was mixed with mung and red beans for luck and prosperity.
